Great gumbo, back again last Friday, Nov 2019, no gumbo, but split pea soup was damn good 👍🏼

Had lunch there today. Not the friendliest! Ordered 2 Rubens...their was only one lady behind the counter....she said “only enough rye bread for one sandwich “ One of us said sourdough was fine. The sandwiches were made in the microwave- not grilled as Ruben’s are suppose to be...Bread and thus sandwich was tough..

Great icecream

First and foremost, this place has a terrible mold/mildew smell. Secondly, the ice-cream was stale. Third, numerous things listed on their menu were unavailable, and finally, my wife repeated her order only to be given the wrong thing at the end. I think the worker didn't know how to make, or didn't want to make the original thing ordered.

Excellent and fresh chicken salad sandwiches. The owner is a sweetheart to talk to. Very nice atmosphere.

It definitely does not smell like mold or mildew. The food is excellent and so was the service.

Smelled a little weird but it is an old building. Sandwich was the bomb though.

The service is always far from friendly, and the inside does have a bit of an odd smell, as indicated by other reviewers. Heads up, they do not accept Discover cards.That being said, the sandwiches and ice cream are surprisingly delicious, and it's in a lovely peaceful lunch spot.

Great warm homemade style sandwiches. Place sits in a little corner of old city center of Yuma, with some a few outside seats to do some people watching and take in a very tranquile atmosphere.
